Support

We’re hard at work hammering out the details of convergence spaces, food, rides, and everything else we’ll need to pull off a successful week of actions, trainings, and education. To do it, we need help from supporters like you! We’re looking for donations ranging from stuff to space and beyond. If you have anything to share, Give us a shout! Here’s a list of some of the stuff we know we’ll need.

Offer Space

Convergence Space

Space:

We’re looking for spaces to provide workshops, housing, showers, and meal prep. Anyone in the DC area who has access to space or is willing to host folks, please get in touch with us.

Housing:

Mid January we expect hundreds to converge onto DC for anti-inaugural events, we want to be sure we can house as many as possible but we also want to make these events and this time accessible to historically marginalized voices and communities. That being said we are prioritizing finding housing and hang out spaces for Black & Brown, trans & queer, and disabled folks. If you’re in DC and are willing to open your home or space to these groups specifically, we’d love to hear from you.

If you’re in another city that is holding inauguration day events, connect with your local organizers and let them know.

Misc:

If you or your organization has showers, quiet rooms, space for workshops, or other handy stuff we don’t have listed here, please get in touch with us!

Offer Supplies

Food:

We’ll be housing folks for over a week and would like to be able to provide snacks and a few meals to some of our comrades in need.

Also, real talk, any caffeinated thing you have in excess, we would love.

Medical supplies:

(From Highest to lowest priority)
Medium Nitrile Medical Gloves, Sterile Gauze Pads, Roller Gauze, Transpore tape, ACE Bandage, Triangle Bandage, Coban self adherent wrap, Iodine wipes, Cough drops, Antibiotic ointment, Alcohol wipes, Hand sanitizer, Tampons, Pads, Liquid Benadryl, Electrolyte Mix, Water bottles, Red bandana/red duct tape, Ibuprofen/Acetametaphine, Safety pins, Tissue paper, Sharpie and Some high carb/high calorie snack (bar or something) for people feeling a little faint. Best if it’s relatively allergen free (no peanuts, vegan etc)
Let us know if you can help us with this!
